BBQ Pork


This was Troy's birthday dinner this year and I must say it's pretty awesome.

5 lb pork shoulder/butt roast
1/4 c water
salt
pepper
40 oz BBQ sauce (I used Sweet Baby Rays)

Season meat with salt and pepper
Place in large crock pot with water
Cook on high for 1 hour
Turn to low and cook 7-9 hours
Remove roast and discard fat and juices
Shred pork and add BBQ sauce
Cook on low 1 hour
Top with coleslaw
